Raven Symone

 

Raven-Symone Christina -Maday, nee Pearman, was born on December 10 the 10th of December, 1985. She is also referred to as Raven. She has received many awards including five NAACP Image Awards (two Kids' Choice Awards) as well as three Young Artist Awards, three Daytime Emmy Award nominations, and two NAACP Image Awards. In 2012, she was featured on the list by VH1 of "100 Greatest Child Stars of All Time".



 



 Raven-Symone started her career as a child actor, acting as Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show (1989-1992) and Nicole Lee on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1993-1997) Both of these roles earned her numerous nominations and awards.

Her screen debut was in Carlos Saura’s Tango. It received Academy Award nominations for Best Foreign Film and Golden Globe nominations. Maestro who was trained in Argentina she traveled to Berlin to study the vocal repertoires of Kurt Weill's as well as Hanns Eisler. Her first acting role was in the stage play The Summer Trilogy by Carlo Goldoni in 1998. By that time she had secured the sought-after part of Lulu in Frank Wedekind's Pandora's Box at the San Martin Theater in her hometown of Buenos Aires. She was awarded the "Ace" Award for Best New Artist of the Year.

Carol Vorderman

   Carol Jean Vorderman MBE HonFIET was born on 24 December 1960. She is a British media personality best known for her appearances on Countdown over 26 years.    Her career in the media began in 1982, when she was a part of the Channel 4 game show Countdown. She was on the show with Richard Whiteley from 1982 until his death in 2005 and later, together with Des Lynam and Des O'Connor and then left in 2008. In addition to appearing on Countdown, Vorderman began presenting other shows on behalf of various broadcasters including Better Homes and The Pride of Britain Awards for ITV as well as guest hosting shows such as Have I Got News for You, The Sunday Night Project and Lorraine. Her books include detox diets.    Vorderman was a host on ITV's Loose Women from 2011 until 2014.
